If you follow me on facebook then you know that I spent the first week of January out in Mystic, CT at a photography convention. I spent 4 very full days in workshops and lectures learning as much as I could and meeting a ton of fabulous photographers. (Who needs sleep?) I had an absolutely wonderful time!
Now I’m back in NYC trying to implement everything I learned at Mystic. I’m staying busy and so far 2011 looks fabulous!
I wanted to share a little bit of what Mystic was like. This is what the lecture hall looked like. I was too busy taking notes during this lecture (This happens to be the world famous and incredible photographer Yervant speaking) so I’m borrowing a photo that Richard Esposito took. Thanks Richard for documenting Mystic!
This is a photo of me (I’m the second in from the right) and a bunch of my new friends grabbing dinner at Mystic Pizza (made oh so famous by Julia Roberts) before going back into that lecture hall. Actually Yervant’s talk (above) was the one that came right after this! Thank so much to Jeff Guntert for the photo. I love it.
