Three years ago today I married the love of my life in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Our family and friends were with us and we spent the evening eating and dancing and celebrating in the perfect red barn. To be honest I don’t remember a lot about that day. I was tired from staying up late to finish all the DIY projects I had for the wedding (and didn’t finish until the night before.) Mostly, I remember that it was a wonderful day, full of love and sunshine (even though it poured through my entire reception.) Heather Bohm-Tallman was my wedding photographer and she captured every detail for us so that we could remember everything that happened. One of my favorite photos of the day is the one she took right after we were pronounced husband and wife. All I have to do is look at that photo to see how much Ryan loves me and how happy we are and nothing else means as much to me. The cake was lovely and the food was yummy, but it is all gone now. My dress was beautiful, but now it is sitting in my closet while I try to figure out what to do with it. Of all the things I spent money on the one I am most thankful for are my photos. I don’t regret a single penny of it, even though I spent much more than my budget said I should on photography. I know some day I’ll be able to share these photos with my children and grandchildren and they will be able to see how in love we were on that day and how much fun it was.
Happy Anniversary to my handsome husband! I’ve had the best three years of my life and I look forward to many more with you 🙂

I love this photo of Ryan with his brother and father.
Ryan and I did a first look. I’m so glad we did. It was such a special moment and it let us get photos in the sunshine (after the ceremony it started raining.)
These are my favorite photos! So happy to be married!
Starting off the dancing. We got a local Contra band to play for us and it was such a good idea! Great music, great dancing and it was no more expensive than a DJ.
The dance floor was packed all night!
Another one of my favorite photos. I love the movement and how you can just feel what it was like to be there.
