We finally built a tomato frame and got (the first batch) of tomatoes and peppers in the ground! It’s a pretty simple A-frame with twine running from the top to the bottom that I can wrap around the main stem of the tomatoes to keep them upright. It looks like it should work. And supposedly it also helps you see sucker branches and pull them off. Not sure I’ll manage that part, but I like a good strong trellis to keep my tomatoes from falling over. I’m also pretty excited about the peppers and extra basil I planted. I love peppers (though we will see how many I get) and I don’t think you can ever have enough basil. Especially if you want to make pesto!
