Sorry for the lateness of today’s post… it was raining this morning so I couldn’t take the photos early like I had planned. I guess I need to start taking them the day before. Especially now that the sun is coming up later and later. In the summer I could get up and take the photos for this blog post by 6:30am… now it is dark out that early.
Since my garden is starting to hibernate I thought I’d share some of my favorite gardening tools from this summer! My favorite thing to use was the deep-seat garden kneeler. I got it from Gardeners Supply online but I’m sure you can find it elsewhere too. It was so handy to have when I spent all that time on my knees pulling weeds and planting. Not only is it softer than the ground but most importantly it kept my knees from getting covered in mud and wet from the dew and rain. Also if you flip it over it becomes a comfy bench and that is pretty cool. I also loved my bucket. I think I got it at Home Depot but I know you can find these all over the place. It’s bendy and I use it every day to fill it with tools, or weeds or dirt or whatever I need to carry. In fact I have two of them (different colors) because they are so handy! And lastly my little garden clippers. Nothing amazing about them, but they got the job done. Lots of jobs. I used them for trimming everything except the trees. I loved that they were tiny and sharp. I suppose I should clean them up and sharpen them before winter… Sorry for the dirt, but hey that is what they look like. Very well used!
