You might remember last month when I posted “A Day in the Life” that I got invited to be a part of a group of photographers that commits to blogging 10 photos on the 10th of every month that were all taken on the same day. The idea being to actually occasionally document our own lives, not just everyone else. So today I thought I’d share some photos that I took this morning at the Graves Mountain Lodge Apple Fest.
There are only two of us at home… so I can never take as many apples as I want (which is all of them) but I got a good box full today! And I’m pretty sure that pumpkin is about the same size and weight as my baby. No? Well it feels like it.
Ever since I moved to VA I’ve been wanting to live on a farm next to a beautiful stream. However I’m in love with the northern, rocky streams and I’ve never seen on in VA until today. So someday I need to live on this stream. Just saying.
One of Virginia’s quirks. I don’t know why, but it seems like very time there is a fair/fest/celebration the civil war reenactors all come out. I don’t know what about apple harvest says civil war… but they seem to be very fond of it here in VA.
Just a little peek into my day. It turns out that 10 isn’t that many photos… I could have shared a lot more, but that wouldn’t fit the whole 10 on the 10th now would it?
