Nursery for a Baby Boy

I can’t believe it is December 10th already!  Time for another 10 on the 10th blog post!  I’ve been mostly on maternity leave… finishing every last detail of my weddings and photo shoots for the year.  I thought that I’d have a baby by now and wouldn’t have time to be blogging or working, but it looks like he is doing everything in his time instead of my chronically early preferences!

I am writing this post on December 8th and scheduling it to post on the 10th… so If I’m lucky I will actually have a baby by the time you read this!  But if that happens I won’t be home on the 10th to post this, so I’m scheduling it while I do have the time.  🙂  I had originally planned on sharing photos of baby this month, but since he isn’t here I thought I’d share some of the nursery!

I didn’t have a theme or plan when putting this together.  I wanted to get three things into the tiny room, a crib, dresser & rocker.  And I wanted it to be a place that I felt happy, nothing too primary or bright in color (I figure we will get there soon enough!), since I’m sure I’ll be spending a lot of time in there.  It all started with the fabric on the crib skirt (which my mother and I made) and then from there I found pieces to match.  I love the way it came out!  It is perfect for a little boy but also inviting to adults! It is full of photos (that will hopefully be updated soon to family photos!) and gifts from family and friends.  It might be my new favorite room 🙂

I can’t wait for our baby boy to come!  I’m so excited to meet him!
