Nora & Josh – Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery Summer Wedding

August 26th, 2016

No one ever wants to think about rain on their wedding day, but sometimes it happens.  It’s always good to have a backup plan (and Elizabeth & Rich did) but oftentimes at outdoor weddings the clouds make the view even more beautiful.  So despite the rain showers all day Elizabeth & Rich decided to be brave and keep the ceremony outside.  Who can blame them with the fabulous view at Bluemont Vineyard?!  Right before the ceremony started the rain started up again but somehow the sun came out too and a rainbow appeared!  (If you look the photos below you will see a photo of Elizabeth’s mom walking down the aisle, her face was what clued me in!)  The huge double rainbow hung over them for the entire ceremony.  It was so beautiful!  Everyone is so glad that they decided to brave the rain and go outside.  They never would have gotten a rainbow without it!

Congratulations again Elizabeth & Rich!  Your wedding was lovely, your girls are precious and the two of you are wonderful together.  Here is to many many wonderful years ahead!
